For the description of the model, we will make here a symbolic synthesis, for obvious reasons, of a virtual world that is “frozen” with screenshots. According to the stereoscopic technique applied to the head-mounted display, the 3D effect is created through two different screens which, with different angles, are positioned inside the viewer and in front of the observer’s eyes. In the following images, therefore, the two “holes”, on a black background, are the two screens (with an optical deformation due to the transformation into screenshots). A brief description of the images that are representative of a “walk” inside the virtualized metro station will be provided.
