NEW SAINT PETERSBURG HOSPITAL

Saint Petersburg Kurotny District’s new Hospital is a Rehabilitation hospital that will host 480 therapeutically beds organized in double-bedded rooms with toilet, plus 12 ICU beds. The total area of the Hospital consists on almost 38’000sqm on 5 floors plus a basement. The main departments are dedicated to the rehabilitation of patients with affections to neurospinal peripheral and central nervous systems. Moreover, a department of Ophthalmology and Urology have dedicated beds in separate units. The surgical department has 5 OT, included a hybrid OT and is directly connected through a bridge to the existing Surgical Building. The Hospital is also provided with an endoscopy unit, a diagnostic departments that provides the most enhanced technologies in terms of imagining, several specialized clinics, a staff canteen, a restaurant for visitors, and a kitchen that can prepare meals for the Hospital and for the Pediatric Hospital. A Cyclotron for the isotopes’ production for the radio-diagnostic and 2 bunker with linear accelerators for the radiotherapy are included in the hospital.
